NEW ASIC MINERS FOR DECRED ARRIVE WITH MORE POWER - Buy Bitcoins News profitable bitcoin Mining

The mining equipment manufacturer Bitmain has developed an ASIC Minerequipment for decred mining (DCR). Called Antminer DR3, this equipment has a power of 7.8 TH / s and an electrical consumption of 1410W at a temperature of 25 to 40 ºC.

The announcement of Bitmain was made through its social network Twitter yesterday. The Antminer DR3 has a cost of $ 673. The manufacturer accepts bitcoin (BTC), litecoin (LTC) and bitcoin cash (BCH) as the payment method. Although the sale has been limited to two computers per buyer , the existence of the equipment was sold out in less than 24 hours.
The shipment of mining equipment will start between September 26 and 30, according to the information provided by Bitmain. The Antminer DR3 for decred works at a temperature of 25 ° and a maximum power consumption of 1.553W.
This mining equipment has more power than the D9 + Decred Master, launched by the manufacturer Innosilicon Miner on August 2. Unlike the DR3, the D9 + Decred Master has a processing power of 2.8 TH / S. However, the D9 + has a lower power consumption than the DR3, estimated at 1.230W for a power supply with 93% efficiency and at an ambient temperature of 25 ° C.
The launch comes after, in the month of January, Bitmain starred in a controversy  regarding its production of equipment dedicated to cryptocurrency mining . The debate arose around the production of the A3, a Bitmain ASIC team   to mine siacoin (SC).
The concern of the community revolved around those users who preordered equipment such as SC1 Obelisk, which offered a lower power than the A3 but would reach the hands of their buyers after the Bitmain ASIC Miner. Therefore, if the production of equipment by Bitmain continued, the preordered equipment would not have the opportunity to compete against the new miners. The reason for this would be that the difficulty settings of mining in the network would come long before the SC1 were operational. This would prevent the Obelisk ASIC from providing the same return promised to its investors in the beginning.

A couple of days before Bitmain's announcement regarding its DR3 miner, WhatsMiner, another mining equipment company, had already made public the launch of D10V1. This ASIC miner is able to provide a 44TH / s mining power , while consuming 2,200W, according to its website .
While its power to mine is far superior to that of its closest competitor, the recently mentioned Bitmain DR3, its price is also. In this first batch, the price per unit is $ 4,198 and there will only be 500 available. Unlike the DR3, WhatsMiner's D10V1 is still available to those willing to buy it.
Those who have acquired less powerful models have some advantage to get the most out of their miner, as the manufacturer of the D10V1 will begin to dispatch orders for this equipment from December 10 next. Therefore, it may be the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 when the impact of this new ASIC on the difficulty of mining the Decred network can be seen.
Decred has undergone changes in recent months. For example, the hashrate of the network expanded from 3,700 TH / s that registered in the month of May, to more than 90,000 TH / s in the last month. In addition, its price has experienced a significant drop, according to CoinMarketCap . The Decred DCR went from being worth more than 111 dollars in the month of May, to be worth 38.42 dollars at the time of writing this article.
